Last updated: 2024-09-30At Recipeer, we're not interested in your personal data. Our reason for being is recipes, not watching and listening to you.
User data we collect
When you register for an account with the Recipeer service, we store the information you provide us. This includes:
- Email address
- Username
- Anything you enter into your "bio", "location" and "website" fields
- Images you upload, such as a profile picture and a "masthead" type image for your profile page
Submitted content
All content submitted to Recipeer (including recipes and comments) is associated with the user who created it.
Collected by 3rd parties
We use several 3rd party services to aid with some features of our site.
SimpleAnalytics.com
Simple Analytics is used for some basic statistics information regarding incoming traffic. Simple Analytics does not use cookies, and does not track you beyond the fact that you landed on our site. Please see their privacy policy and document explaining what they collect for more information.
Paddle.com
Paddle is our merchant of record, used to receive payments from paid subscriptions for Recipeer. Users who pay for our "Recipeer Pro" plan are directed to Paddle's checkout widget to enter payment details.
In order to process and identify transactions and subscriptions, we must provide Paddle with some basic information about the paying user: we use an email address to identify the user in both our own database, and in Paddle's systems.

Right to be forgotten
We believe in your right to remove your data. If you want to remove your account, please reach out to deleteme [at] recipeer.app and we will take care of your request.
Please note, that while your content is yours, Recipeer is built around taking other people's recipes and modifying them in "forked" copies. Therefore, any copies of your recipe which belong to other users will remain - only your own recipes and associated data will be deleted.
